Brownsville Mayor John Cowen Jr. said the City of Brownsville has been working very hard to get a new airline in Brownsville and that the city is very excited to have Avelo Airlines here.
“We have been working hard to get a new airline here for a long time and are very happy to have Avelo Airlines here. It opens the door for more connections from Brownsville and provides opportunities at an affordable price to make sure that our families can travel to both coasts,” Cowen said.
Those traveling to the East Coast, to Orlando, can visit the Kennedy Space Center while those enchanted with Mickey Mouse and his friends can visit Disneyworld by taking the direct non-stop flight from Brownsville to Orlando Brownsville via Avelo Airlines.
These routes to Los Angeles and Orlando operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays
