Games of Texas 2024 will be supported by over 1000 volunteers!
Thanks to their enthusiasm and energy, the volunteers will play a key role in the success of the Games of Texas 2024 and will help make this event truly unforgettable. Being a volunteer means sharing unique moments and emotions. It means embodying the sense of hospitality and values that BROWNSVILLE is renowned for with all the stakeholders involved in the Games. It means being part of a team of people who have all come together from the state of TEXAS.
They are the face, soul, heart, and smile of our Games. And thanks to them, you will be able to enjoy a memorable Games yourself!

What are volunteers for?
• Welcoming athletes and spectators
• Guiding athletes and spectators around venues
• Site setup and breakdown
• Assembling swag bags
• Concessions
• Cleanup …and more!
What do I need to be a volunteer?
• Register Online
• Games of Texas 2024 welcomes all, clubs, organizations, and people ages 16 years and over (If you volunteer as a club or organization, we can coordinate to put you in one site all together)
• 4+ hour shifts available
• Some volunteer assignments will be outdoors, so being able to tolerate heat is necessary.
• For a better volunteer experience, volunteer orientation meeting to be scheduled in July 2024.
• Track team coaches are not allowed to register as volunteers.
