The City of Brownsville’s Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) is thrilled to host the Games of Texas in 2023 and 2024. This is a historic first for Brownsville, and we are excited to showcase our city and the talented athletes across Texas who will be participating in this state’s largest multi-sport event.
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), the Games of Texas is an amateur sports competition inspired by the Olympic spirit, emphasizing the recreational athlete and the enhancement of their competitive experiences.
